Terms and Conditions  

I. Technical Requirements

  1. A PC with a minimum spare capacity of 150 Mb, minimum 16 Mb. memory with Windows 3.xx, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000 Operating System.
  2. A good quality telephone line for Internet connection, those utilizing PABX should choose the analog line (Telkom standard).
  3. Modem (Standard CCIT/ITU, 9.600-56.000 bps capacity)

II. Administrative Requirements

  1. The Registration Form along with the copies of the necessary documents, is to be completed and signed, without which the customer's application is declared null and void (copy Id card or passport, copy Bank Transfer/copy Credit Card).
  2. The Registration Fee and the First Month Premium, 10% VAT included, must be paid in advance (except for mailbox, should be payed 3 months in advance), membership is then activated 1x24 hours at the latest following payment that is done on a working day (Monday-Friday 09.00-18.00)
  3. The Registration Fee and First Month Premium cannot be redeemed, in the event of cancellation of membership.

III. Membership Fees

  1. Are claimed every month, the Membership Fees inclusive of overtime and other facility charges that correspond to the usage up to the billing statement's date of issue.
  2. The Membership, overtime and other facility prices are subject to change at any given moment, however not without a prior notification sent via E-mail and an announcement posted on the Indonet Homepage.

IV. Membership Rights

  1. Right to disposition of the Internet facility through the intermediary of PT. Indo Internet in 16 Indonesian cities and towns that are constitutive of PT. Indo Internet's network.
  2. Right to use the Internet facility in more than 120 countries through the GRIC network (http://www.gric.com) which is possible by registering oneself preconditional ly for this option with Indonet. The international roaming fees are imposed at an additional charge of US$5 per hour and US$0,60 per connection.
  3. Right to get information and assistance from the Indonet Customer Service, via telephone, Fax and E-mail, seven days a week for 24 hours. 
  4. Right to the benefits of the various special facilities that are at the subscriber's disposal in the Indonet Homepage (http://www.indo.net.id).
  5. Right to receive the Billing Statement that is expedited every month.
  6. Right to maintenance of E-mail for a 15 day maximum period in PT. Indo Internet's mail servers.

In the occurrence of membership being in a state of temporary hold, the subscriber is still entitled to receive e-mail for 14 days (since the account is held) and should he, in this 14 day deadline, fail to discharge his payment, PT. Indo Internet is h enceforth not responsible for any incoming E-mail.

V. Membership Responsibilities

  1. Obligation of prudent and responsible password utilization, in order to prevent its
    unwanted usage by other parties.
  2. Customer shall be responsible for all cost that may occured cause of internet access activity.
  3. Obligation to pay all bills duly; in the case of payment made three days exceeding its due date, PT. Indo Internet is thereby entitled to place membership on temporary hold. If the third day falls on a Sunday or on a public holiday, membership is susp ended on the subsequent working day.
  4. Obligation not to disseminate nefarious news tantamount to racism, bigotry, pornography and violence that purports to tarnish and contravene the civil rights of parties other than oneself.
  5. Obligation to download email periodically from indonet mail server so that it will not excedd the quota. Indonet will bounce the incoming mail to the sender if the mailbox was exceed the quota (5 MB).

VI. Cancellation of Membership

  1. Cancellation of membership must be done expressly and is to be addressed to PT. Indo Internet Customer Service via facsimile ((021)5271850) or E-mail at cs@indo.net.id, the absence of which is valid reason for PT. Indo Internet to consider membership as still in effect and the monthly fees that are still applicable must be redeemed.
  2. In a one month deadline subsequent to the date of placement of membership on temporary hold, should the customer as yet not discharge his residual bills, all incoming E-mail messages will be returned to the senders..
  3. If, within two months following the date of placement of membership on temporary hold, the payment has not been redeemed, PT. Indo Internet is consequently obliged to cancel the membership of the concerned party(s).
  4. In compliance with section c alinea VI.c, the individual whose membership was cancelled not allowed to acquire a new subscription as long as his previous bills have not been discharged. In a situation the occurrence of which the bills owed are fully r edeemed, PT. Indo Internet will treat his/her registration as a new member.
